It’s that time of year again to consider making your year end gift to your favorite charitable organization. Please consider the Foundations for Recovery. The gift you give today will surely help a life tomorrow. Our goals are many but I know that “we have not because we ask not” James 4:2
Goals for 2016:

Parents Support Group: Providing needed support to families and parents of loved ones caught in the grip of addiction
Steve Hale Memorial Educational Center: Raise crucial funding to provided computers for education, employment search and resume building, enhance basic skills including personal finances, provided addiction webinars for training of participants and coaches.
Fundamentals in Peer Support Leadership Training: We are planning on having 3 new training dates this coming year. Winter 2016 class scheduled for Feb 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th and March 4th
Insurance: To get established and approved to begin billing for services being rendered at FFR. With the understanding that we would never deny treatment to those who would be unable to pay.
Peerpocalypse – Leadership Workshop – March 14th through 16th
2016 Multiple Pathways to Recovery Conference (Hartford CT)– Director Doug Gould presenting a workshop on Faith Based Recovery
2016 Drive Out Drugs Recovery Festival – September 16th & 17th – Harry & David Field
Pear Blossom Challenge: Not to mention that Doug will be participating once again in the 5K Pear Blossom Challenge so he can continue to raise funds while losing weight to reach his goal
Community Car Wash: “Get your Car Clean so other can Get Clean” Car Wash Day
Housing: Our desire is to obtain two homes so that FFR can provide clean & sober housing facilities for Men and Women.
Employment: to provide part time paid employment to our recovery coaches
But most of all to be a light to this community so that others can experience God’s love and forgiveness and to “Disable the Labels” that addiction places on so many. I am a firm believer that if you give someone HOPE, then their is a greater possibility of complete restoration. Thank you again for your support.
Doug
